We’re Bruce and Kristen, the husband-and-wife team behind Plank’s End. Our story began with a shared love of woodworking, which deepened while living in our first home. There, practical needs (furniture that actually worked for our space and the way we lived) taught us the value of thoughtful, intentional design.

Bruce brings trade experience, precision, and durability to every build, while Kristen shapes how each piece lives and feels in a home. Together, we balance beauty, form and function to tackle real-life challenges, especially in small, tricky or multi-purpose spaces.

Whether crafting something new or restoring a cherished favorite, we work closely with our clients from early design conversations through final installation. Our approach is personal and hands-on, guided by care for the materials, the details, and the life each piece will become part of.
